Orkila adheres to fundamental principles of corporate behaviour and action, these principles are valid for each and every Orkila affiliate throughout the Group irrespective of the country in which they are located.
Based upon these principles, the following code of behaviour and ethics has been established in order to guide the employees and managers of the Orkila group in the performance of their duty and, in so doing, to contribute to the Group’s overall long term philosophy of responsible care and sustainable development.
1. Directors and employees should act with honest and ethical conduct.
2. Directors and employees must comply with laws, rules and regulations.
3. Public disclosures should be full, fair, accurate, timely and understandable.
4. Employees and directors must avoid conflicts of interest.
5. Confidentiality of Company information must be maintained.
6. Employees and directors are prohibited from taking the Company’s corporate opportunities.
7. Fair dealing in all activities is expected.
8. Employees and directors should protect and properly use the Company’s assets.
9. Waivers of this Code must be approved and disclosed.
10. Employees and directors are encouraged to report illegal or unethical behaviour or violations of this Code.
11. The Chairman of the Company will administer this Code.
