A few months after the creation of Orkila Senegal SA, the Orkila Group is pleased to announce the creation of its new affiliate, ORKILA COTE D’IVOIRE SA, located in Abidjan, the economic capital of Ivory Coast.

Considered a cultural hub of West Africa, Abidjan is characterized by a high level of industrialization and urbanization. ORKILA COTE D’IVOIRE SA will offer, to customers and suppliers alike, a solid foundation for the growth and development of their interests.

ORKILA COTE D’IVOIRE SA along with Orkila Senegal SA, are now fully operational and will be covering all the Western African countries.

With this latest move, Orkila reinforces its established position as the leading chemical distributor in the Middle East and Africa through its activities in Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, KSA, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Tunisia, U.A.E., Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

Over recent days we have all seen on our TV screens the devastation caused, in the north west of Pakistan, by the unprecedented monsoon rains. Many have lost their lives and countless more their homes and livelihoods.

For some ORKILA employees this tragedy is not just a news item, it is affecting their families and local communities.

In response, ORKILA has donated the sum of US$ 10,000, routing the money directly to the people working to bring relief to those communities, in the hope that they will soon be able to start rebuilding their lives.

Each month new suppliers are seeking our services which provide them with access to a regional customer base now approaching three thousand.
