Since its creation, almost three years ago, Orkila has pursued a strategy of development, consolidation and improvement throughout its network of companies across the Middle East and Africa.
During that time the Orkila sales force has been extended and reinforced in many countries, the overall headcount has risen by 16%, from 176 to the current level of 205 people, with recruitment focused on qualified and experienced sales personnel.
Orkila’s commitment to the continual improvement of service, both to our customers and suppliers, was recently underlined by the ISO certification of Orkila Morocco. |

Over the last three years Orkila has strengthened the capital base of a number of its affiliates, enabling these companies to fund growth and to extend their activities locally.
Orkila’s business is expanding, both with its traditional supplier base and with a host of new suppliers, enabling Orkila to strengthen its product portfolio to the mutual benefit of customers and suppliers alike.
Not only is Orkila’s business expanding but so is the Orkila network!
Orkila is delighted to announce the creation of its new company in Syria, Orkila Ltd, which is based in Damascus; and also the establishment of Orkila Jordan, a fully fledged distribution company located in Amman. |

Orkila Jordan
Until now Orkila’s presence in Jordan has been limited to that of a representative office operating as part of the Orkila Mashrek organization.

Today, we are pleased to announce the creation of Orkila Jordan.
Orkila Jordan is a fully fledged affiliate of the Orkila Group and will conduct its own distribution business from local warehousing, in addition to its traditional agency business.
The company is based in Amman and will, initially, employ 8 people. |

Orkila Jordan will build upon the existing platform of established business in the key segments of animal feed, home & personal care and food, whilst developing further in other areas such as the pharmaceutical and paint sectors.
The creation of Orkila Jordan is the latest step in the Group’s strategic development plan. By extending the Group’s presence in the region, Orkila is able to offer a more comprehensive service to both customers and suppliers alike.
